Which grafighter for hxj
ive got it on a 6470 now and would lke to know which grafighter to get that will take its place. looking to fish 40/50 lb top shot. what are all you using for this reel?

Put mine on a new GF750H, loaded with 65lb spectra and about a 50yd top shot for my yoyo and as my 50lb bait stick. The HXj is a solid 50lb reel but will fish 40lb with no problem.

Hook a Blue Fin Tuna or a 50+ Yellow Fin Tuna on it yet?

GG90J is what I would use.

I have my HXJ on a GF750H. This rod is rated 30-60 and I have caught yellows to 35lbs at Cedros with the yoyo. Cast well and pulls hard. Going to use it as a bait rod at the Lupe this year. Good luck in your search.
