Fishing Australia and New Zealand

Im heading to both spots in November (Gold Coast, Cairns, Auckland) and was wondering if anyone could provide some helpful info about fishing in these areas. Im looking for some kind of party boat fishing if possible or an inexpensive charter. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Pascuale,
There are plenty of Charters or group reef fishing in both Cairns & Gold Coast
When you arrive go to the nearest Marina or tackle shop and they will be able to provide you some great options.

Hi Pascuale
PM me when you are closer to arriving in Auckland and I will hook you up with someone or take you out myself.
Doing a boat test today on a bigger boat for myself that I hope to store in the drystack down the bottom of town so it should be handy for you. What sort of fishing are you into??

Pascuale

If you are stuck in Auckland when in NZ , Let Boulder or Myself Hook you up ( probably with Damo) or Take you out ourselves.
There you have it mate an Offer and a Backup offer for Auckland. You just organize the weather.
Unfortunately my offer would only be redeemable on weekends , Boulder the Lucky Bastard does not suffer from such Constraints on his Fish Clubbing activities....

If You can travel around NZ , North of Auckland , Bay of Islands you'd probably get into some Yellowtail Kingfish , They are still a bit Patchy in Novemeber around Auckland.
Either way barring howling gales , you're bound to catch a couple o' Kiwi Fish.

Re: Fishing Australia and New Zealand

Deal done I now am the proud owner of a much bigger boat Hardtop running a 200hp Yamaha so can make good on my previous offer. And yes as Gav suggests I am retired so its only the weather that hold me back now. I plan to store the boat in the drystack so I can have it in the water and be off fishing with 30 minutes notice. Life is good when you retire early
