Thumbs up A Broady at last

well from my 1st post on these pages a few years back and all about how we tried for a broady, well over easter we went out and did just that.

It was my turn in the chair but i elected to give the seat to another, people have asked "did you regret it" hell no, it was a team effort and all on the boat boat catch the fish IMHO.

A trip was organized to go to the 3 Kings, it all came about as a prize I put up on fishing.net.nz and was to take a junior away game-fishing, the winners came from the south island of New Zealand and dam keen was the young fella, both he and his father will never forget this trip, a marlin each and a broad bill and the young fella went swiming with his marlin as well.

here are a few pics of the broady.

Awesome fish! I cant wait for my first sword.
Youre right in that most catches, especially of big game fish, are team efforts. Whether youre on the wheel, in the pit, on the rod, or on the gaff, it takes everyone to get the job done.

Nice going, Steve.

Only now you've gone and done it...Stage Two of Purple Fever is upon you.

It's worse than Stage One...

Mercy!
