I took the boys out for the first time in a couple of weeks. We didn't even take the yak out of the truck because the current and wind were ripping right up the beach--no point in taking baits out very far, even with an 8 oz spider sinker. We got three gafftop catfish; not great but kept Will busy with his Jigmaster. And they ate up pretty good.
