Well the wife and I are out of here tomorrow at O dark thirty and coming back 4/11. Looks like I'll be getting in a couple of days of flat and reef fishing. Hopefully I'll get my first bone and tarpon.
Wish me luck and I'll have lots of pics to share when we get back.

Had our annual company meeting there in early march
The bone fishing was pretty good / I used 8# spinning gear
with a 3/16 oz darter head and a 3/4" piece of gulp shrimp.
The bones were crazy for that shit the guide couldnt belive it.
I think a piece of sand worm would work well too. We stayed on Ambergis Caye at Ramon's, the flats are close by but youll need a boat. The word we got was that reef fishing was a little slow but the Dog Tooth snapper should be spawning soon( now?). The Cayes are beautiful but the mainland is like the interior of Mexico. The big difference is that everyone speaks english! Enjoy the Rum and cigars
Thanks for the report. We're staying at Ramon's also. How was it?
