Overproof caught 3 yellowfin 100lbs+ and Reel Addiction caught 17 wahoo on the 28th, plus there's still Blue ones around that feed on those peanuts!

Oct 1997 we were anchored up and I didn't have the keys so this and a baby cuda were all I could manage.... Click the image to open in full size.

I don't know who you fished with or where but I know one thing, you get bad fishing days anywhere in the world.
Look up the Blue Marlin World Cup stats from 3 out of the last 4 years and see what you find? I don't know what type of fish that you like to fish for, all I know we have Game Fish up to 1,352lbs here(dude).

Re: Bermuda in August?

Yikes!! It was a joke Bro!! How many people charter boats in their dungaree uniform?? I'm in the Navy. My ship anchored out while we dropped off some sailors to fly home early and picked up some family memebers to ride out the last few days of our 6 month deployment. It's called a Tiger Cruise.

I fish anywhere every chance get. If my ship stoped and anchored up, you could always find me back there fishing. Trust me, after six months in the Med and Gulf I was still very stoked with that little grouper and the cuda.

Trust me I would love to get back to Bermuda and really fish.

Re: Bermuda in August?

Excellent. We just booked two days next August, and it would be nice to get into a better grade of tuna! 100+ is a big Bermuda tuna! Chunks? Live Bait? or feathers/cedars?

Yeah, August is usually when the larger tuna are here. This year they have been very inconsistent but there have been some large ones caught(for Bermuda) up to 160lbs. Some were caught on Marlin plugs and live baits but mostly on chunks.Today my friend caught one about 125lbs this morning, I'm not sure what he ended up with.Good luck, hopefully they will be here in bigger numbers next year.
