WoW! Thanks for the warm welcome! Being a transplant from the Big Island of Hawaii, it was like being back home to hear such words of encouragement, and hospitality from such a big forum. I guess I gotta get my ass out on the water more often!
Thanks again, and look forward to reading post and checking out pic's

Ricky, the bite is starting to kick in. October should be WFO on the mahi, and Wahoo. PM me and I'll get you out on my boat.

Hiloboy,

Don't forget the popper around the payaos too. I used to kill the mahi on the payaos with poppers. Plus when the yellowfin are up first thing in the morning they tear up the popper too. I just moved form Oki back in July. Also if you want to know where to get some taman(spangled emperors) or cuchinaji(another type of emperor) let me know as I had them on tap back there. I miss Oki!!!

Nustyruts, I'm the same hiloboy on Ryukyu fishing forum. PM me and we'll have to get out soon.

Pescador4ever,
I might have to hit up up on that. Taman are some good eats! Drop me a line if you're ever back in Oki!
