I am not sure on rods but I took a bunch of diving gear 2 years ago with no problem other than the weight which i had to split into 2 bags. I only saw one big spanish mackeral in about 5 days of diving, other than that just small reef fish. Where are you staying at???

Sounds great. We stayed in Montego Bay at Sandals. It was pretty nice there and did some tours around the island. Didn't do any fishing though, but if the dodo's are running i would be all over that too. Good luck on bringing the rods in. Don't forget to bring back some pics when you get back. By the way that ATL airport is friggn crazy. Be careful when you get on the train/tram.

Check out the water falls, but make sure NOT TO BUY A VIDEO. Some local will video tape you through the water fall and tell you he will sell it for 40 bucks. All you have to do is give him 20 now and he will collect the other 20 when he drops it off at your hotel. Don't ask me how I know.

Depends on how many days your gonna fish. Lot of trouble to drag all your gear out there to fish once or twice. I plan on Bringing a setup with me next year and trade it for a days fishing with one of the local dude's. I'm sure you will have fun either way
