Re: Alaska - The other side of the tracks...

I woke Ali up this morning by getting my bloodhound puppy all worked up and then opening the door to Ali's bedroom and throwing the crazed dog in.......

They are taking off and heading for some sightseeing for the next couple of days

Jason, we will see you up here next year I hope.....

Halibut fishing is off the hook right now, but the weather is making it hard to get to them....7 fish over 80 pounds yesterday with the big one # 153....
Pulled a hook on one much, much bigger... I will post the photos I have tonight.

I should be seeing you next year for sure! Baby will be older by then. Ali said you know your stuff up there. I just had to send him to test you out .
Wish I could have been there this year!

So what is nasty weather to you?

Good to see my peeps have my back while I'm gone.

We have an epic report coming after this F$#%ing Tournament is over.

Andy deffinately has that place wired and the Seward style Reach-A-Round is breathtaking.... Ask for the Capt. Frosty Special.

Is this good?

Re: Alaska - The other side of the tracks...

Oh my God..... I dropped the Anchor in 50 feet of water, no sooner did I get a chum bag down but a 125-150lb halbiut is SWIMMING under the BOAT....Looking at me. Lines in, hell breaks loose, rod benders, lines screeming, me yelling Mel untangling. Two by two they come, no gunshots, too shallow, scares the fish, so were gaffing these monsters and yarding them in the boat, I got one guy who fishied earlier in the week and he has enough "big fish" wants some chickens so he doesnt end up with more than 150lbs of fish to take, and he's releasing 50 to 80 pounders, then Mel is trying to get the jig out of an honest 50 pound halibut and a Steller Sea Lion (about 2000lbs worth) eats the freeking halibut out of her hand, it could have killed her.......More mayhem, tails sticking out of the box and its off for Kings, Iam tired and sore and even more tired and bewildered, oh forgot about the Minke Whale that ran across the anchor line and tripped the anchor. Andrea, one of our Coho Joe Coffee gals lands a 90 lb fish on the jig, then drops the jig back in and a no shit 150lb fish BITES THE TAIL OFF of the chicken swimming around the boat. Kings bite we loose more than land, paradise found... the day you live for.

AND THE HAIR IS STILL STICKING UP ON THE BACK OF MY NECK..........

Dude, why does it all come back to Big Paul with the 16/0 circle hook penis peircing? What kind of a man walks this earth with a Mustad 39965D 16/0 hook stuck thru the end of his Johnson? At least is could have been an Owner Super Muta!

The bottom line is fishing is off the hook and Big Paul is...Well....on the hook....

Seriously the local halibut leader boat right now is Profish-n-sea (Steve Z) # 1, Crackerjack Voyager( me) #2 and Profish-n-Sea( Steve Z) # 3 for the top three spots and Nik is going to put one up any day now....

Life is good in Seward, nice weather, epic fishing, and everyone is still trying peal the hunderds of Bloodydecks Stickers that are tagged all over town....

Remember how to catch these? Full metal jackets and cop cars.....
