yep, find out where the sure fire spots are and take him to have a good time. some captains are just plain dicks. I reserved a whole boat down here for my buddy's and I for my 30th b-day. We spent something around $1600 to only catch one fish and have a dickhead captain talk shit to us all damn day. I couldn't believe it. I think the fish can sense it when theres alot of tension on board cause we wasen't catchin shit. Best of luck to you guys in the future.
