News Chad's Coastwide Sportsfishing...late June Report

Well...time will only tell how the body will hold up...realizing I'm not the same old spring chicken any more...
As I woke up this morning on a day off, I couldn't help but wonder...could the fishing really keep up to the way it was yesterday...I mean eveyone has his day and I guess...mine was June 30th/2008...
I felt like sometimes my Dad was looking down on me from above and at times the ocean felt flatter, the sun seamed brighter and the longstone reels screamed louder!!!
I honestly lost track on how many fish we hit and lost but 16 to the boat was a good number ...
My clients even asked if I wanted to play a fish and low and behold it was a hog that dam near spooled me....life doesn't get any better than that...trying to play a fish, chase the fish with the boat and then keeping the clients organized on how to net a fish...gong show for sure.
At the start of the season we concentrated our efforts on the bottom fishing with some great success...love the glory hole...always getting what we needed for our clients and more...
Now the Kings have started to show up and hopefully we can continue to see the numbers like I saw yesterday.
I should throw out a few thanks to all the sponsors as well as my wife Angela for here patience and help of course and to Wade at Bear Cove Cottages for all his support and friendship...
Here's a bunch of photo's of our week....enjoy and hope to see some more bloodydeckers up this way.....later Chad

How fast is she cruising? With the dual 200's I'm think she is givin er. When we were going along...didn't see you the whole time then right at the end of the trip I look beside me and there you are...and we are cruising at 29-30knots...so you must be ripping it up!!

Salmon rock! Nice post. How did you like using those single action salmon reels?
The direct drive ones have a lot of torque.

I really liked them,,,,,let you play the fish on a one to one term...think I am going to get me a set to use here on our Lake,,,,,we have Rainbow that run in the 20 pound range and they like to run,,,,and we also use downriggers ,,so they are a great combination. Tightlines ,,,,,Allan
