Bummer, have two silver avet 80's on the way and found this post. I hope I don't encounter the sticky, jerky drag. That's the main reason I got rid of my older Penn's. We'll see and I'll report after break-in and a few big fish fights. Would adding Cals grease if necessary void the warranty?
