I have my TRQ200 on a 10-foot Tady 1097 jigstick.
With a Tady 45 and a 40 pound topshot on this rig, I know that the best cast these 54-year old old shoulders can produce is about 95 yards.
Accordingly, my topshot is 100 measured yards, and I can get very close with a favorable tailwind.
Last October aboard the American Angler, deckhand Taro [22 years young] borrowed the rig, and promptly yelled: "Hey Steve, your topshot is way too short".
My reply was "It's not too short for me!".
In the right [young] hands, casts of over 100 yards with a Tady 45 are easily achievable with a TRQ200. | Taro can throw iron a mile......when him and Ray get it going.....oh man and then Brian decides to toss a few.......it is a real pleasure to watch this guys load up the iron.
