when i bought my shamrock, i drove from huntington beach to mississippi. i think gas was about $1.20 per gal then. i used about 350 gals round trip. i paid about $420.00 for gas, today over $1,400.00 for the same amount of fuel. i hear you, but it's still very tempting. i rigged lots of whalers/guadians when i worked for dana landing and blue porpoise. i've always wanted a 25' or a 27' whaler/guardian center console.
