Color preserver question

Hi, I am new to rod building...I'm almost finished with my second rod. I put the third coat of Flex-Coat color preserver and it went on pretty wet...I guess that there's not much soaking up of the CP anymore.

My question is...I applied the last coat of CP about 4 hours ago and I noticed some small opaque spots that I did not notice on the other applications. Is it just that it needs to dry more? I wanted to apply the FC High build epoxy this evening. I hope that those white blemishes dry clear.

I built a GUSA Wahoo 8' conventional rod for jigging slow and deep or for yo-yo style jigging. I used Fuji titanium guides, an ALPS reel seat and EVA grips. The rod is very light and will be a fine jigging rod.

Here are a couple of pics of my rod thus far....
