take about 15 ft of hollow braid and a set of Smitty latch hooks and a few needles.
make a loop on one end of the hollow braid with the latch hooks ( many examples on the net ), and then using the needles run your mono up into the other end of the hollow braid about 5 ft and whip finish the end of the braid.
If you go to the salty dogs board on Ifish.net and do a search on "wind on leaders" there is a very good tutorial.
Once you have done a few it takes about 5 min to make a wind on top shot
