Hopefully this comes through for you Carlos, but be adamant about cash. Don't let them lull you into a false sense of security. Believe it or not, it wouldn't be the first time I've heard the check had cleared and it wasn't for a couple of weeks before the bank discovered the check is no good ... and you will be on the hook!
