The guy who started it is my buddy's friend and just was invited to Kingsford for some demonstrations. These guys are serious (not that the others on this thread aren't) about the BBQ and smoking. All you really need is something that will consistently keep temperature. The Weber Smokey Mountain does that very well. I wish I would have got one instead of my Brinkman (and probably will), just so I don't have to worry about the heat that much.
The Weber, also, will not break the bank. I think you can get them on Amazon for about $190.00.
