I enjoyed staying up late and Jorge would show me how he tricked out his bombs. He was fond of the orange spinner blade on the bomb. The custom made Jorge wahoo feather was also deadly. Orange and yellow skirt with pink skirt on a jet head, comstock, often outfishing marauders even at Clarion. Listening to Jorge speak was great. He was always enthusiastic about fishing. He would give me verbal tips and i would listen.
Jorge had great taste in music too. Oldies, classic rock, beatles and a mixture of everything else. He didnt just listen to gringo music for our benefit either. Jorge knew the words to all the songs and loved to sing them in the galley. |
How bout Sinatra music to his homemade Lasagna and Ceasar Salad (dressing from scratch). Happy memories.
