If you had 2 tags it would be ok.
I don't think I would shoot but would stay around to see if they could get out of that situation. If they couldn't, I would at least put one out of it's misery and try and free the other. It would be so exhausted trying to get free I don't think I would be in any danger. They wouldn't be going anywhere so you would have time to make a plan or get some help.
