Very true, but they are really expensive (and worth it). I just went from an 18 Striper CC to a 28 Pursuit Denali WA. The 18 was great for fishing, but I haven't taken the Pursuit past the breakwater yet, never mind fished from it; but I'll let you know how it goes.
