My setup is a Calstar 900M with a Saltist 30 high speed and love the combo.
The reel has 200 yards of 30# spectra and about 100 yds of 30# P-Line CXX-B. The only time I've seen the spectra was when I had the bright idea to use this rig during an Albacore trip. One 30 lbs. albie and I won't be doing that again soon.
The high speed has plenty of power and casts very nicely.
