[I hate seals]

One thing I saw post a few times last year was " I tried to hale the boat on 72 and no one came back, so I moved in"

Keep in mind sportfishing boats, large 'ones and 6packs have one VHF on channel 16 and the other is usually on channel 18. It is never on 72.

If you want to hale a sporty, do it on 18. Once you get a reply ask to switch to another. And do not overdo it. Ask once, maybe twice and let it go if you get no reply.
