I've been looking at the Luna too. I am looking for a 14lb caster that I has a level-wind.
Just for thought, check out the Quantum Cabo. Sorta the same thing but not as pretty. New and not yet proven.
Found these comments on the Daiwa on Bass Pro Shop when I was just lookin at the specs:

Awesome Big Game Reel, June 12, 2006
By Fish Slayer from Northern California, Sacramento area
</TD></TR><TR><TD class=BVcontent>"I fish for salmon, striper, steelies, yellowtail, catfish, bass, and halibut. I brought the 300 for the line capacity but was surpised by the castibity of the reel. I have no problem casting smaller baits(1/4oucne) and the drag has handled yellowtail runs with no problems. I highly recommend this for reel for freshwater biggame and inshore fishermen. It will be one of the most used weapons in your arsenal of fish slaying toys. Tight lines." </TD></TR><TR><TD class=BVcontent>How many times a month do you fish on average?: 5+
