| Re: Pros and cons of the twin vee
"I am a biased Grady owner and wouldnt buy anything less." Well, while I agree that Grady'd are a fair boat, I dont consider all other boats "Less"
With the Twin Vee, the concensus is that it is a good value boat. They ride great in most conditions, big for their size (as Merlin said) Did I mention the ride? Twin vee construction methods are designed to offer the boat at a good price, not to make them pretty. In the 26 foot and below, its a great boat. The big ones look like I laid them up in my garage. I dont know how much $$$ you are thinking, or what size boat you are thinking, but Ill give you my experience (ive been looking at them and riding on them for years, and finally bought a cat)
New: Look at twin vee 20,22,26 Sea Cat 22 (awesome boat) Pro SPorts 23 (9 ft wide) world Cat 23 (ouch! pricey) and Glacier Bay 26.
Used: COnsider Sea Cat SL5 94-98, the 97 and newer model is the WC 27 Hull, these boats are a bargain for what you get. Also look at Sport Craft SPort Cats as they are maid on the Sea Cat mold. (I own one of these, you are welcome to go for a ride)
I will say that it will be the ride that convinces you.
