the correct way to remove the pins if you cant acces the inside is via hydraulic pressure. with the drive removed you will notice 2 plastic red inverted caps inside the trim pins on the external transom plate. insert special tool filled with grease and hammer the shit outta it till it bottoms out hopefully pushing the pin out.
as mentioned above the retainer screws must be removed from the inside.

the drive can be removed with a 5/16 allen wrench a pair of wire cutters and a flat and philips screwdriver.
