I've camped at Convict Lake several times. It's a great family place with lake and stream fishing. Really scenic too! There's also a country store there for all your needs. Just a little south is Mcgee creek a little more rustic with just stream fishing. To dense with trees to fly-fish but you can get away from the crowds at Convict. Have fun!
