Hey, great tutorial. You're right on how easy these reels are to work on. I was so scared to open my saltigas and figured they were easier than trinidads. You answer my question on the drags on the saltist vs. saltigas. Both materials seem very brittle. At Fred Hall I spoke with a lady at Smoooth Drag and she said in a couple weeks, they will have drags for the saltiga 15,20,and 30's. When I changed the drags on my saltigas, I kept the original washer that was underneath the drive gear, It seemed that I got more drag out of it. You're right, what the heck will you do with so much drag. Does the saltist have the hard carbide feeling drag washer under the drive gear? Just curious. Also, by the looks of the photos, were the original drags greased or were they dry. They look dry in the photos. Thanks!
