Thanks for the report. Congratulations on a great hunt. I think that when you are blessed by being able to drive to the kill is that best thing that can happen to a Elk hunter, I have killed nine Elk and was only able to drive to one kill site. And that was my first Elk.
I have never hunted Elk in NM, but my dad had a ranch in Animus Valley and had a lot of Deer.
Great hunt man. Nothing better then Elk Stakes.
