Tony and Tony Jr were only there to see us off and JR was there for the return, when the captian scraped the hull pretty good on the dock. during unloading half the crew was pounding tecate as fast as possible while passengers were lifting their own ice chests up to the second deck because we got in at somewhat low tide. ive heard good things about the trip from people who went on it years back but it has changed and i will never go again....driving three hours through run down mexican villages was pretty depressing, ive been on an 8 day trip on the AA and a 7 day on the Royal Star and we spent alot more time looking than catching and both trips i considered a success, and this one a real failure. i was so thankful to be back on American soil once we crossed the boarder in mexicali.
