on the BBQ. There's a restaurant in Riverside called Anchos. They do exactly what you describe but it's done over a mesquite fire - like Crab cooker's. They call it camaronisalhambres - or sumthin like that.
Dove breasts brushed with BBQ sauce, cupped with onion on both sides, wrapped in bacon - scewered then bbq'd, sitting along side a nice new york steak is a great Sept 1st dinner!
