| Suggestions for the next one
Over all Great Tournament. Didn't do as well as we thought we would have, but that's why its called fishing not catching. Had a blast cant wait for the next one.
Just a few ideas for the next one.
1. better parking, went to go to the banquet and could not park. had boat and gear with me, sucked wanted to be there but wasn't going to pay $20 more to park and not see my boat and gear.
2. maybe break the tournament into 2 levels big boats and little boats.
3. Start time set up maybe a little different picture of live well was good but after seeing some of the boats out on the water at 4:15 on paddy's, makes me wonder.
any ways just my thoughts and seeing if it helps at all.

I thought it was a great tourney. Wish more teams would have entered? No host bar for a while was cool. Good food and raffle prizes.
There is a huge dirt parking lot by the Hotel. It's Free.
Don't know about big boat lil boat thing. More entries of each and maybe it would make sense?
4:15 AM. They were probably parked on the paddy waiting..... if they metered fish....if they were in the tourney at all?

Boats not too small, at least i have one. 17 cc or 38 sports fisher we didnt have the big boat out do to work issues with my other dad. Fuck the parking deal i did deal with it all weekend. just wasnt dealing with it any more, with about 15 grand worth of takle and gear i wasnt going to park were ever. i was on the radio and showed up a 5:15 to the paddy's with boats that i could see while heading out there.
By the way did you make it to the tournament or did you couch fish this weekend. |

We would have entered (we were fishing on Saturday anyway) but were turned off by the 3 angler team limit (we fish 5 usually) and the 8:00 deadline on weigh in. It seemed to me that those two rules would favor smaller skiffs, not good for us larger (32') boats, especially given the high fuel bill to run fast to get in on time.
