me too, wanted to be in there- BD tournaments are a blast to be apart of; as for the parking thing, stick a couple of volunteers out there to patrol the lot...let people express their opinions and ideas...keep these tournaments going strong!

I just went off of what the website said:

"The Entry fee will be $300 per team (3 anglers) which includes your tournament entry, After Party entry and Angler Bag."

Wish I would have asked the question as to extra anglers but the website was pretty clear and turned me off without even going to the rules. But, I wouldn't have entered anyway given the 8:00 limit. Thanks.

I didn't fish it, but we were out for a day and a half and that morning I heard at least two boats who were talking about the lines in time, and they both decided that 5 AM was the lines in time and it sounded to me like they were fishing then.......Wasn't it 6 am?

Offshore Shootout Rules
August 22, 23 & 24, 2008

1. It is the Team Captain's responsibility to read and fully understand the rules before the start of the Tournament. It is the responsibility of the Captain to ensure his team members and boat are fishing within the Tournament Rules. Any breach of these rules by ANY team member or captain will result in TEAM disqualification.
2. The Entry Fee for the Tournament is $300 USD per team of up to 3 Anglers, additional anglers may be added to the team for $100 USD each when paid in full by 8/15/2008. After 8/15/2008 the team registration fee will be $350 and $125 per additional angler and includes anglers registered at the captains meeting. Â There will be a maximum of six Anglers per team. Every person on competing boats shall be considered an Angler. All passengers aboard must be PAID Tournament Anglers, no spectators/guests are allowed.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER August 15, 2008
It is the Captain's responsibility to contact tourneys@bloodydecks.com for refund before the date above.
One team member shall be designated as Team Captain. Team Captains may reserve paid angler slots at time of registration, but must have angler names and contact info submitted before the end of the captain's meeting on August 22, 2008. To register crew that is not yet determined please fill the angler spaces as TBA. Angler fees must be paid at time of registration and final Angler info can be submitted at Captain's Meeting.
Captains must submit final registration information for the entire team before 9PM PDT on August 22, 2008 at the captains meeting.
Failure to check in before the end of the captains meeting at 9PM PDT will result in immediate disqualification and no refund will be issued for any reason.
The Tournament Committee reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person or team at any time at their sole discretion without formal notice.


7. Lines in shall be Saturday, August 23rd, 2008 at 5:00AM PDT.
8. Bait Fishing is allowed before lines in. No other lure, jig, or line specifically rigged for any game fish is allowed in the water before lines in. Any tournament eligible by catch must be released.

Rules were very clear and if you had any question before you could email or at the captains meeting you could ask we did. great tournament will be there next year
thank you BD we need more small fun tournaments in the future
