I haven't seen this question yet BUT if it's been asked /answered . . . sorry.

Can we make bait ( mackerel ) before the 6:00 am start? It'll be away to kill time while waiting in line at the receiver . . .

Yes. Good question. Had to research what the other tourneys allow...

*10a. Bait Fishing is allowed before lines in. No other lure, jig, or line specificly rigged for any gamefish is allowed in the water before lines in.
