Thank you for the clarification. I do know the spot. However, I have never fished inside the surf zone, upriver. If you look at some of the charts you can see some wrecks upriver where the skipper mistook the San Gabriel River Channel for the Los Alamitos Channel. That is what we call an Ah Shi*!
