Actually, I didnt think you could drop a kayak in there, acess to this place is on the right side of PCH if you are heading from Huntington, There is a small jettie (warm water jettie) then a very large jettie right next to eachother. So after leaving Huntington you will go over the bridge (main exit from HH) then I think it is the very next bridge usually 3-4 cars parked there at the fence and ppl fishing there.

I think it is used to cool the plant down or something so the water gets fairly warm.

I used to always get a grip of Halibut there, also as the tide goes down there are hundreds of octopus in there, we used to take em home and put em in our saltwater tanks only to find them stuck to the kitchen tile hour later.
