there are some nice ones out there for 200 and less. i have the "fishin buddy 2200" that has side scan and water temp. they CAN be helpful when those little fuckers are hiding deep, but for most bass fishing, i just use my eyes. good for trout and crap-pie hunting mostly or spring/winter deep bassing.
check out

pretty good selection of tap water related finders.

I think I should get one because I need all the help I can get out there . Would be cool to see nugs of Trout and structure in lakes instead of fishing completely blind like I have been.
What kind is good for CHEAP. Pink pickle warrior help?
Also people who fish the same lake all the time do you guys ever slowly build your own top secret structure with cement blocks or something and mark it on GPS and continue to build it over the years. |
