but by the time the spool gets that small the jig is in the water, even if you cast 100 yards. with a 332 and say 40 pound, and if you put line on tightly like your supposed to it won't make that much of a difference. On a 338 there is alot of sideways resistance, the narrower the spool is and if you fish like 40 or 50 pound it is easier for that line to come off at high speeds, say during a cast. I'm starting to get a feel for the penn 4/0' s with an accuate Yellowtail special frame and spool with 5.2:1 gears. Just my opinion.
