Yea!!!! (I got shoes again

)
OK well, short story is the fishies did not want to play.
Left the slip at 4 am with Hoozyerdaddy. Frank, Mike, Shelly, Jonathan and Gordon (gabacho gordo) aboard the WaaTooSee....Greg and Matt on HYDY (thats my new abreviation for you, greg

)
Got some decent bait from Mikes, and the weather was up a bit but tolerable. HYDY stayed right in our wake, looked like a pretty smooth ride out for him.
We headed straight for the 238, where we understood some albies and a Blue Fin Tuna were boated thursday.
Water temp ranged from 59-63 degrees. Put out the spread and started the waiting game. Did not see a whole lot of signs, but the water was kinda green. We didnt get a damn jig strike all day.
However, about 9.30, HYDY hooked up a boated a very nice 25# Albacore. We trolled back over the spot, we changed colors, we changed speeds, we changed the spread geometry....we just could not get them darn fishies up.
We made up for that tho, had one HELL OF A FUN weekend cause I had the wifey with me, she stayed at the coral, and did the spa thing, along with Amy and Michelle and Katy. then......
ANOTHER FEAST!!!! Greg very generously "donated" his first albie EVER on his new boat, and we had the restaurant cook it up.
Lee, (heatherlynn II) and his wife joined us all for dinner.....lets see how many of us were there.....Mike, Val, Jonathan, Frank, Shell, Greg, Katy, Gordon, Michelle, Lee, Heather, Jeremy and David, Oh, yeah, Mots and Max and Max's wife.(Amy? Sorry max.)
Did I miss anyone? What a feast!!!
also heard a rumor that Mots picked up a nice halibut right there at the slip......I didnt see it due to "blind-ness"....yeah, thats how I lost my shoes too!
I/we got some great photos.....unfortunately I left the camera at home today. I will post them tommorrow.
Sunday, all the guys got together and pitched in to help Frank install his new toys.....New SS rocketlaunchers...(SWEET!) New grab rails, lets see, a few more drinks......oh yeah, someone donated a new ICOM GPS chartplotter..and the drunk bastard even installed it for him!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAN!!!!
Got the new name on the back of the boat, then headed for the border....left the Coral at 2:55 PM....was in line at Tecate at 4:25...and home in El Cajon by 5:50.
anyway, great weekend. Thanks everybody!!!!
