My sister lives about three miles from there on Whidby Island. I've watched the tide rip through there under the bridge and remember thinking, "I wouldn't want to be on a boat in that water!"
Did you notice the road bed on the bridge is an open screen? Kinda spooky driving across a 'see through' bridge.
