I've carried a trauma bag ever since I became a medic. In my car,on friends boats,and during backpacking trips to the High Sierras.I also have made dozens for friends
and family.
When i got into Saltwater fishing it scared me to think about bleeding to death out on the water. Cutting bait,filleting fish,accidents...All potential hazards!
This got me thinking...
Think about how prepared we are when we get out on the water...Checking fluid levels..Making sure all our fishing gear is in order. Most of us would not be able to stop a friend/loved one from bleeding out in a life threatening accident.
So Ive decided to make some "Mini trauma bags" perfect for boats,trucks,backpacking,etc.
All the kits contain everything you'd need to stop a serious bleed. Help might be 30 minutes away(you'll bleed out in 3 mins) It pays to be prepared in case of an accident. From cutting a finger with a bait knife to slipping and hitting your head on a wet deck...

i have 3 of these kits 1 for each car and 1 on my boat .. i already used the ice pack when my sister got in a car accident and we were waiting for the fire dept to get there ... imo you cant go wrong having this kit! you dont know when something is going to happen

I too have three of these, one for the car, boat and home. Nice stuff. Saved me the night when I got a hook stuck in my head.
