Description: 1978 Egg Harbor sportfisher for sale. This boat is set up as a hardcore dive and fishing yacht. All the creature comforts of home plus the equipment to sustain inter-island trips without stopping at every harbor for supplies.

Twin Detroit 8V92's 735 HP engines are tight and strong in a engine room that is very well laid out and maintained. 32x32 four blade props push the boat as efficently as a 50 thousand pound boat can go. 1000 engine RPM pushes the boat at 8.5 knots while 2100 RPM brings her up close to 22 knots.

A 21 KW Northern Lights genset provides all the power needed to run the many AC features. Four Cruise-Air air conditioners keep the entire boat cool from the salon down to each of the two staterooms.

There are two heads with showers each with private entrances from the staterooms and companionway. The companionway also has two beds to bring the bed total to seven throughout the boat. A twenty gallon hot water heater and a 450 gallon per day watermaker keep the two inside showers going along with the hot and cold deck shower.

The salon and galley are both on the main deck. Very comfortable seating arranged on both sides of the boat provides seating for the larger family. New carpet throughout the boat along with all new appliances and a 32 inch HDTV LCD TV with 1000 watt entertainment system makes for a great enviroment on the inside. Two refridgeartors and a large chest freezer are built into the ample counter space. Of course the all the wood work inside is beautiful teak wood work.

A huge cockpit surrounded by teak cover boards and teak deck offers lots of room outside. A large custom made intregated bench seat with a huge fish box built under the seat is a feature most large sportfisher do not have, outside seating.

Never carry scuba tanks to and from the dive shop, to the boat again. The boat has a new 10.4 SCFM deisel powered air compressor onboard. Fill time for four tanks at the same time is under a half hour. Fold down scuba tank holders carry fourteen tanks all secure and out of the way. A custom centered post dive ladder is located through the transom door and also can be removed and stored out of the way while fishing.

Whether you are night diving or night fishing the lights brighten up the darkest of nights. Two 400 watt metal halide deck lights along with two 150 watt metal halide through hull lights get er done. Nothing like night diving and always knowing where the boat is.

Ground tackle keeps the boat tight while anchored. 400 feet of 3/8 high test chain is connected to a large Fortress anchor. A new top of the line Lofrans Falkon windlass pulls the anchor and chain controlled right from the bridge.

The bridge is what you would expect. A Furuno 48 mile radar, Cetrek autopilot, Garmin 10 inch color chartplotter, Furuno 10 inch color fishfinder, Furuno sideband radio along with multiple VHF and two meter radios. twin helm seats and wrap around seating forward to the helm allows for many guest on the bridge.

This boat is truly built like a brick shit house and able to handle the rough waters encountered between the islands. Nice tall hand rails with the wide walk around deck provides safety along with a sleek clean look. The boat has the lines that was only available in these years of classic sportfishers.
