15" 1985 Hobie Power Skiff with a 2005 Yamaha 50HP Four Stroke Outboard. For those who know, this classic boat is a legend. This is the perfect boat for Southern California. I've taken this boat to La Jolla for yellowtail, Point Loma for calico's, IB for halibut, and of course the bays for sand bass and spotties. I've even taken it to the Nine Mile Bank and caught a dorado. It's the perfect platform for hoopnetting for lobster in the bay, and I have even done some SCUBA diving off this little skiff.
Here are some details:
2004 Yamaha 50HP outboard with electric start and power tilt/trim; all carbs totally rebuilt in 2008, new water pump in 2009, new propeller in 2008.
New zero feedbck steering system (cable and helm) in 2008.
17 Gallon Kodiak Pro Flow bait tank with 500 GHP pump. 12 Gallon tank, Garmin 240 fish finder, Uniden VHF radio, lights, compass and anchor package.
