Description: I hate to let this go, but its time for me to upgrade to a bigger boat. This was the first boat I bought and I took extremely good care of it. Its super clean, in and out. It is a FULL walk around in which you can battle your fish all around the boat without having to worry to fall over. Once youre tired, you can take a nap inside of the very very clean cuddy cabin. The boat is most fuel efficient at around 23 knots fully loaded. She gets about 2 mpg around fully loaded at 23 knots. She can go faster than that if youd like, but you would just be burning more fuel. The deck space is very open and has plenty of room for 4 fisherman or 8 on a harbor cruise. It has lots of storage spaces which do not take up the precious real estate of the deck and cuddy. The bait tank is a custom 45 gallon Offshore bait tank that holds 2.5 scoop of bait with a custom window and LIGHT. The window helps you keep track of your bait in terms of how much you have left and also make sure that they are lively. The light helps them not bump into each other during night travel. It has a 90 gallon fuel tank and is very fuel efficient. The engine is a 130 hp, 2 stroke Johnson. Very very reliable. The boat is actually a Marlin. That company bought the cabo mold in 1990. With its� wide beam, lots of seating, large front deck, full Eisenglass enclosure, and full head, you can have a lot of fun. The boat rides really nice and has plenty of power. It�ll cruise at 20 knots all day long in comfort with plenty of seating for 10 people (We�ve had 22 on it). It�ll also sleeps 8 people very easily. A set of house batteries and a large Xantrex inverter were installed so you can run appliances or just about any 120V appliance. Nothing better than running in from fishing while watching football or baseball games on your laptop! Unfortunately, he have to get rid of the boat due to some family health issues. It has a single Yamaha F250 four stroke (just over 300 hours and freshly serviced). 150 gallons of fuel, Furuno radar/plotter/sounder pacific edge bait tank and stainless pacific rails including the cockpit. It is in immaculate condition and I am still not sure that I want to part with her. I have started delivering larger boats in So Cal and Mexico and have a little less time to get out. I also want a bigger boat....don't we all.... These boats fish BIG and are durable and safe. I know that you know these boats as they have become very popular in our area. Description: 1976 American Marine Industries 24ft Command Bridge. 24.17 ft long, 96 inches at the widest point This vessel is of Web-Cor fiberglass construction, super thick and sturdy. Pacific northwest vessel, designed for use on the open oceans. Very stable, even on the roughest of seas. I have spent the past several months rebuilding the boat, and have replaced a majority of the running gear. Recently remanufactured OMC 800 Electric shift outdrive, all new gears, bearings, seals, the works. I just replaced the lower unit water pump impeller as it is a very wise annual precautionary measure. Shifts smoothly and quietly. Installed remanufactured tilt motor. Ford 351 Windsor long block was rebuilt by the previous owner and has excellent compression. Barr water cooled exhaust manifolds and risers, reconditioned and inspected to ensure proper flow. New starter, new plug wires. Newer aluminum fuel cell, I believe its capacity to be 125 gallons. New fuel filter and water separator, 2 new electric fuel pumps, (primary and back up), remanufactured Holley marine 600cfm electric choke. All new U.S.C.G. approved fire resistant fuel lines. U.S.C.G. approved flame arrestor. OMC trolling motor mounting bracket installed. I have a 14 hp Evinrude that I mount there to provide backup power or to use when slow trolling. Bennett trim tabs and control unit. Automatic Halon fire suppression system mounted in engine bay. 1500 gph primary bilge pump, 1000 gph back up bilge pump. Brand new 3" and 4" blower motors and ducting. New wiring for all primary components. New gauges installed in cabin control panel. New sync cables linking cabin and fly bridge engine and drive controls. Has a two battery bank, one battery is brand new. Heavy duty sealed battery disconnect switch. All U.S.C.G. required safety items. Brand new Orion flare set still in unopened package including day and night flares, throw able life preserver, life vests, air horn. Raytheon waterproof VHF radio, new 8900 Mariner antenna and brass mount. Has anchor, 50 feet of chain, and a lot of anchor rope, all contained nicely in the storage locker at the bow. Has manual windlass as well. Great amount of fishing space on the aft deck, five rod holders, two huge in deck fish lockers. This space could be used to house fuel bags to extend ones range, or to stuff those 35 pound Albies or Bluefin into. Has a Water Puppy wash down pump installed at thru hull fitting, I have it hooked up to provide continuous sea water flow through the engines cooling system when the engine has been turned off. Has a bait bag and a 25 gallon polyurethane live well which can be mounted on the swim step. Cabin is very spacious, with over 6.5 feet of vertical clearance. Comfortable convertible galley includes sink, ice box, plenty of sundry storage, two burner alcohol stove, removable table, 1000 watt built in power inverter, built in battery charger for shore power, 40 gallon potable water tank, recently resealed and refitted. New pump for sinks, new plumbing. Two fire extinguishers. All upholstery is original but in very good condition. Has a very airy and well lit cabin due to the wrap around windows. Sleeps four comfortably in the cabin with the convertible galley bunks and the standard larger sleeping area at the bow. I removed the fixed seating on the fly bridge and replaced it with top of the line folding captains chairs, which allows you to put an air mattress up there to sleep under the stars. Wives like this feature. Has private head with a self contained portalet, sink and mirror. Clean the tuna blood off your face in between hot bites. Has an enormous amount of storage capacity in the cabin, including a huge closet and bountiful under seat storage. Has an array of spare parts located in parts locker, drive belts, a third electric fuel pump ( heaven forbid the primary and backup give way). I will also include an electric oil change pump and a Sealoc manual for the drive unit/engine. The command bridge; There was seating up there for 4, but I removed it to allow for extra sleeping area, includes two new folding captains chairs. Full set of controls and gauges same as in the cabin. I installed an aluminum access ladder I had made to replace the original. I have been rebuilding this vessel to make it a turn-key offshore fishing rig. I replaced everything for piece of mind at sea. I haven�t yet addressed the cosmetic details about the vessel, as it is a fishing vessel not a show winner. I have plans to fill in any screw holes from previously mounted fixtures and to repaint the orange strips blue. My primary concern during this build has been safety and reliability, the most important factors when you are beyond the horizon trolling for Striped Marlin or working the kelp patties for Yellowtail and Dorado. I am exiting the Navy in 5 months, and unfortunately, can't take her with me. The vessel is on a trailer in dry storage at MCRD just 200 feet from the private boat launch there. If an active duty or retired veteran purchases this vessel, the spot it is in may be transferred. I have been paying $60 a month, best deal in San Diego. The trailer is in great condition, and includes a spare tire. I removed the electronic braking system as my 1500 Dodge Ram is able to do all the pulling and stopping.
