We were supose to have gone out with Jeff on the old No.7 May 1st and 2nd but was canceled due to weather. We booked a new date for May 5th and 6th. We headed out Sunday night to the island and started fishing at 3:00 am. Had some breakoffs but not much luck so we stayed until 9 and started moving looking for the ghost. Hit the water Sunday at 7AM. Rolled on up to LJ made bait in about 20 minutes. Nice sized green and Spanish 12"-14". Headed out to the grounds. Wounded warriors and the rockpile
May 04, 2008 - 7:32 PM - by ffosty

I went out today with Capt. Larry W., Randy M and 4 wounded warriors from balboa. It was a bit of a slow morning with some minor boat troubles but while tucked into south side of south Island to do repairs one of the wounded warriors caught a 28in butt.

Down to the rock pile and an assortment of bottom dwellers to include 5 ligs and around 1300 Randy caught a 30 pound Yellow on a scrambled egg iron. I called it out and we searched the area for more tails but none to be had.

Hope you all enjoy the pic of Randy and his yellow
